Q: What does RC2 mean?
A: RC2 means "Release Candidate 2". This is the second public version after the beta phase. There is a few features that has not yet been enabled but they will follow shortly in RC3.
Q: What is new in Genie3?
A: Everything is new. Genie3 is a total rewrite from scratch. We have made sure to make a real solid base with all small bits and parts isolated and perfected. Genie3 does everything Genie2 does, just 10 times better and faster. The time invested in the development of Genie3 is massive (Genie2 took little under two months to complete and Genie3 is running on three years.)
We will make a complete list of all the new features once the website is ready, but to name a few ...

Q: How much does an upgrade cost?
A: The full price of a new Genie3 software is $39.95. This includes access to our genie forum and unlimited software updates to Genie3. It is a one time, life time, fee and you do not need to worry about renewing any kind of subscription.
Q: Does Genie3 run Genie2 scripts?
A: All the basics are the same but a few things has been modified in the advanced syntax. Genie3 has a much more powerful script engine so a few things had to be changed to make more sense in the now bigger picture.
The adjustments that has to be made are minor and there is a converter available in member forums.
Q: Can I copy over my settings from Genie2?
A: Not at this time. But there will be a highlight converter available in member forums. The syntax in Genie3 is real easy and with a little bit of editing in your favourite editor you can also easily copy over your selected settings.
Q: Where is the documentation?
A: The documentation is beeing worked on as a community effort.

Q: Do I have to uninstall Genie2 to run Genie3?
A: No. Genie3 runs in it's own directory with it's own configuration. You can safely run both at the same time.
